Through NICHQ's 2017-2021 Sickle Cell Disease Treatment Demonstration Regional Collaboratives Program (SCDTDRCP), we worked with five regional teams from across the country to improve coordination and service delivery for individuals living with sickle cell disease, enhance access to services, and improve and expand patient and provider education.

Too often, people living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and their families and caregivers miss critical healthcare appointments for a variety of reasons. These important resources and tools can be used to guide efforts to improve relationships between providers and people living with SCD. 

Early Childhood Health Equity (ECHE) work seeks to strengthen early childhood systems to support healthy child development and reduce health inequities and disparities that can have a lifelong impact.
