Healthcare is ever evolving, from research to policy, to practice, and, ultimately, to health outcomes. I am most interested in and find that there is tremendous need in identifying connections across this evolution to better understand the impact of these on child and family health. Doing so promotes awareness of and effective response to national, state, local, and even cultural barriers that impact health equity. Working with NICHQ – an organization dedicated to improving children’s health and achieving health equity – is an honor.
