Andrea Cunningham, PhD

Andrea J. Cunningham over has over 20 years of higher education and corporate experience. She most recently served as the Director of Title III Strengthening Grants Program, at Alabama A&M University (AAMU) where she ensured that all aspects of grants, funded by the Department of Education, comply with local, state, and federal regulations while also following university policies. The grants funded fifteen programs with a budget of approximately $12 million per year. The programs collectively addressed academic quality, fiscal stability, student services, and institutional management. These focus areas fell in line with the University’s strategic plan, mission, and vision.
