Long-Term Endotypes of Prematurity Associated Respiratory Disease (LEOPARD)
The LEOPARD study is a genomic meta-analysis examining long-term respiratory and cardiac outcomes among premature infants.

Tracking respiratory and cardiac outcomes among children who were premature infants.
The LEOPARD study is a genomic meta-analysis examining long-term respiratory and cardiac outcomes among premature infants. Led by Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, LEOPARD is an ancillary study of ECHO (Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes) and incorporates retrospective data from three ECHO cohorts. In addition, LEOPARD is prospectively collecting follow-up data from school-age children who previously participated in one of three studies of premature infants. NICHQ serves as the Data Coordinating Center for LEOPARD and provides ongoing project management support.
