New York State Perinatal Quality Collaborative Neonatal Enteral Nutrition Project

WHAT: A project to optimize early enteral nutrition in newborns less than 31 weeks old to reduce the percentage of these newborns that are discharged from a neonatal intensive care unit below the 10th percentile.

WHO: Regional perinatal centers from across New York State.

WHEN: September 2010 to April 2016

FUNDER: The project is funded by the New York State Department of Health.

NICHQ'S ROLE: Serve as a quality improvement consultant on the project.
