New Video: Methods for Moving a Nation
Posted October 22, 2015 by Cindy Hutter
Lowering the nation's infant mortality rate is no easy task. It requires collaboration at many different levels across and between states and agencies that interact with families both pre- and postpartum. The novel approach of the Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network to Reduce Infant Mortality (IM CoIIN) is doing just that.
IM CoIIN is cleverly combining three key methods for change—collaborative learning, innovation networks and quality improvement—to achieve results in reducing infant mortality across the country. In this new video, hear IM CoIIN participants share how this unique approach is having a profound impact on how they are working in their states to help more children reach their first birthdays and beyond.
